- =======================

- -To have 1024x768 256c 72Hz vert. refresh support, the video BIOS version
- has to be v1.14 or later.

- -In TV mode, open any application shows that bottom of the application is
- shown partially.

- -Switching from any non-TV display type to TV requires Win95 to restart.
- This is by design.

- -In TV mode, the Win95 logo screen got shifted down.

- How to Install 754X Win95 Driver
- ================================
-
- 1. Click on the Start box in the lower left corner and proceed to Settings,
- Control Panel.
- 2. Inside the Control Panel group, click on the Display icon to open the
- Display Properties folder and select the Settings tab (right most tab).
- 3. Choose the "Change Display Type..." button and click the "Change..."
- button in the Adapter Type group.
- 4. Select the "Have Disk..." button and then insert the 754X WIN95 Driver
- Installation diskette into the floppy drive A: or B: and proceed with
- OK button.
- 5. "Cirrus Logic 754X (Cirrus)" will be highlighted for a VLB system or
- select "Cirrus Logic 754X PCI (Cirrus)" for PCI system.
- 6. Press OK and files are being copied from the diskette to your computer.
- 7. If a "Version Conflict" dialog box pops up and asks "Do you want to keep
- this file?", answer "No".
- 8. Press Close again to exit Display Properties folder.
- 9. Select Yes to restart computer before the new driver will take effect.

- How to change colordepth
- ========================

- 1. Make sure you have installed the Cirrus Logic 754X Win 95' driver (see
- How to Install 754X Win95 Driver section above).
- 2. Click on the Start box in the lower left corner and proceed to Settings,
- Control Panel.
- 3. Inside the Control Panel group, click on the Display icon to open the
- Display Properties folder and select the Settings tab.
- 4. Click on the pull-down arrow from the Color palette area to select color
- depth.
- 5. Choose OK to restart Win95.
